SW Futures Falls to Stampede in USSSA Winter Classic
In an action-packed showdown at the USSSA Winter Classic, SW Futures 13U came up short against Stampede 13U, who dominated with a 16-3 victory on January 11, 2025.
The game started with both teams battling hard in the first inning, but Stampede 13U pulled ahead early with a R. S. triple and an RBI from O. G. to take a 3-1 lead. SW Futures 13U responded with a run, but Stampede extended their lead in the second with a big O. G. triple and more timely hits.
In the third inning, Stampede 13U exploded, scoring 7 runs, including a huge J. B. inside-the-park home run, pushing the score to 11-3. By the fourth inning, Stampede continued their offensive onslaught, tacking on another 5 runs to seal the win at 16-3.
