West Side Fury Beats 13U Jr. Eagles in Championship Game

Jr. Eagles played against the West Side Fury in the championship game. It was a very exciting game with lots of action!

In the first quarter, the Eagles made a mistake when #51 fumbled the ball, and #40 from the Fury picked it up. Later, #15 from the Eagles tried to take the ball from the Fury, but the Fury kept it. The game started off tough for the Eagles, but they kept trying.

In the second quarter, the Fury scored first. #2 ran for a touchdown, and #15 kicked the extra point to give them 2 points. The Eagles then fumbled the ball, and #3 from the Fury grabbed it. #10 from the Fury scored another touchdown, but their extra point was blocked. Then, #0 from the Fury made a great interception! The Eagles got the ball back when #2 from the Fury fumbled, but the Fury still controlled the game.

The third quarter was full of big plays. #9 from the Fury ran 25 yards for a touchdown, and #15 kicked the extra point. But the Eagles didn’t give up! #15 ran 80 yards with the ball, and #51 scored a touchdown for the Eagles. Sadly, their extra point was blocked. After that, #15 from the Fury caught a 20-yard touchdown pass, but their extra point was blocked too.

In the last quarter, the Fury finished the game strong. #0 from the Fury intercepted the ball in the Eagles’ end zone and ran it back for a touchdown. They didn’t get the extra point, though. The Eagles scored again thanks to #10, with #15 kicking the extra point. But the Fury had too many points. The final score was 20-34, and the West Side Fury won the championship.

Even though the Eagles lost, they played hard and showed a lot of effort. It was an exciting game, and the Fury deserved to win. The Eagles will work hard and be ready to try again next year!
