6A Football Recap: The Season So Far!

Alright, folks, gather 'round! Let’s break down the 6A football scene and see who's dominating, who's struggling, and who's just trying to keep their heads above water. It’s been an exciting season so far, and I’m here to give you the lowdown from each region.

6A CENTRAL REGION

Top Dog: Salpointe Catholic Lancers (4-0)

These guys are rolling! They’re undefeated and making a statement out there. They’ve got the talent, the coaching, and they know how to get it done.

Middle of the Pack: Brophy Prep Broncos (5-1) and Mountain Pointe Pride (4-2)

Brophy is holding their own with a solid overall record, and Mountain Pointe is right behind them. They’re not going away quietly!

Bottom Feeders: Corona del Sol Aztecs (1-5) and Desert Vista Thunder (1-5)

Yikes! It’s been a tough road for these squads. They’ve got some work to do if they want to climb out of the cellar.

6A DESERT VALLEY REGION

Top Spot: Sandra Day O'Connor Eagles (2-4)

Not a record you’d expect at the top, but they’re the kings of the hill in this region. Gotta love the fight they’ve got in them!

Middle Ground: Boulder Creek Jaguars (1-5)

They’re hanging in there, trying to find their rhythm.

Bottom of the Barrel: Shadow Ridge Stallions (0-7)

Oof! They’re struggling big time. It’s gotta be tough to keep the spirits up when you’re winless.

6A EAST VALLEY REGION

Leading the Charge: Red Mountain Mountain Lions (6-0)

These guys are on fire! Undefeated and looking like a serious contender for the title.

In the Mix: Queen Creek Bulldogs (5-1) and Highland Hawks (5-1)

Both teams are solid, keeping the pressure on the top team. You know they’re itching for that chance to knock Red Mountain off their throne.

Bringing Up the Rear: Williams Field Black Hawks (3-3)

They’re treading water, but they need to pick it up if they want to make a postseason push.

6A FIESTA REGION

Top Tier: Mountain View, Mesa Toros (5-1)

These guys are doing something right! With a strong record, they’re definitely a team to watch.

Middle of the Pack: Cesar Chavez Champions (4-2) and Westwood Warriors (4-2)

Both teams are keeping it competitive, but they need to keep their eyes on the prize if they want to move up.

Bottom Dwellers: Desert Ridge Jaguars (0-6) and Tolleson Union Wolverines (1-5)

It’s been a rough season for these squads. They’ve got to dig deep and find that winning formula!

6A NORTHEAST VALLEY REGION

Top of the Heap: Pinnacle Pioneers (4-2)

They’ve managed to carve out a nice spot at the top, but it’s a tough road ahead!

Middle Runners: Liberty Lions (4-1)

Right in the mix, they’re pushing for a strong finish.

Struggling Down Low: Saguaro Sabercats (0-6)

Man, it’s a tough break for these guys. They’ve got to rally and find a way to turn it around!

6A PREMIER REGION

Best in Class: Hamilton Huskies (5-0)

They’re the team to beat, folks. Undefeated and looking strong, they’re playing like they mean business.

Challengers: Basha Bears (5-1) and Perry Pumas (4-1)

These squads are right there in the hunt, eager to knock off the top dogs.

At the Bottom: Casteel Colts (3-2)

They’ve got a decent record but need to step it up to keep pace with the frontrunners.

And there you have it! We’ve got some fierce competition across the board, and I’m telling you, every week is a battle out there. Can’t wait to see how this season unfolds!
