Verrado vs. Ridgeview: A Close Game with Ridgeview Winning
On March 26, 2025, the Verrado baseball team played a tough game against Ridgeview. The game was exciting, and even though Verrado played hard, Ridgeview came out on top with a 9-5 win.
Ridgeview started off strong, scoring two runs in the first inning. Verrado matched them with two runs, but Ridgeview didn’t stop. They scored again in the next few innings, while Verrado was only able to get a few runs in. By the end of the game, Ridgeview had 9 runs and Verrado had 5.
Even though Verrado didn’t win, some players did really well. They kept trying their best, and there were a couple of stolen bases. The players on Verrado made some great catches and didn’t give up, but Ridgeview’s team was just too strong that day.
Ridgeview's pitching helped them keep Verrado from scoring more, and their defense made it hard for Verrado to get hits. The game showed that even when you’re behind, it’s important to keep playing and doing your best.
Both teams gave it their all, but Ridgeview was the better team in the end. The Verrado players will keep working hard and get ready for the next game.
