Cactus Shadows Tops Agua Fria

Cactus Shadows secured a 56-6 victory over Agua Fria in the final game of the season, and now, they are preparing to face Horizon in the first round of the playoffs.

In their season finale, Cactus Shadows showcased a strong performance, with quarterback Donivan C. Dixon passing for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Ryker Krank contributing 97 receiving yards, including an 83-yard touchdown. The team’s rushing game was solid as well, with Jake King leading the charge with 40 yards and a touchdown. Cactus Shadows’ defense also held Agua Fria to just 188 total yards, helping them secure a dominant win.

Agua Fria, though on the losing side, had several notable performances throughout the season and in this game. Quarterback Aldo Ohlmaier threw for 130 yards and a touchdown, while Xavier Matthews added 86 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jayvier Cook also had a strong season, leading the team’s rushing attack with 37 yards in the game.
